They basically want to re-implement an 18th C serfdom economy, with them running things.But when wealth, and the quality of life was no longer agricultural and rural, the country was never gonna be the same. In an industrial/technological economy, wealth would never be produced by a factory wage. You were never paid by how many kids you had to feed. The more the kids, the more the poverty, and the near enslavement of labour for what jobs there are.
For this civilization to survive, and because men think with their dicks, it has to be up to women to decide their life, if and when, childbearing or not, family size, who gets shoes next. All of it. So they clearly need the power to do it. To do it all.
