Nothing quite so principled. To get discounted tuition, you had to work at the school, doing manual labor, over the summer.

I didn't feel like it, so off to Bellevue High I went.

Um, without looking at any pictures, "plain, undeserving husband" and "whore husband" sort of paint an image.

Holy Sheep Shit.

I went to Eastside Catholic for a year, but it was in Downtown Bellevue at the time, where that nice park across from the mall is now.

Of course, here in Ontario Catholic schools receive full funding from the gummint. Our public high school almost closed when a new, fancy-schmancy Catholic high school opened up down the road. Even the 3 Jewish kids in the area went to the Catholic school because "shiny". Of course, it was at that school that the big sexting scandal broke out last year. Ah, Schadenfreude. It was several years ago that a former student of mine was FIRED by the Catholic board because he got married and asked for spousal benefits for his husband, as was his right. Hey, if you want your kid to get a "values" edumacation, then do it on your own fucking dime. Be like the Mennonite parents I see driving their kids to their private school every morning because the province doesn't fund the school or buses for them to get there. Don't for the love of god (literally) let them learn anything from a godless heathen teacher like me. There is no way that the Catholics should get a fully taxpayer-funded K-12 school system to indoctrinate kids.

rant over.

So did I! And probably he should have been.
