Man, what is it with Republicans whining about not getting everything they want, up to and including a pony for their birthday and a tiara? It’s like the party has been taken over by a bunch of 4-year-olds who insist their tantrums be taken as serious arguments. Who are the latest group of pouty monkey-howlers? Take it away,
What I liked was that the guy acknowledges that he could MOVE to a state that is run by people who are more compatible with his views, and be in the goddam majority; but he was born in MD, and his folks live there, and he "doesn't want to disrupt his family".
So, obviously, his only practical course of action is secession.
On the other hand, that stringy western MD panhandle is kind of a weird bit of border-drawing, isn't it? Kind of like the state itself was gerrymandered.
Yet my very, very red CD has, over the past two decades, turned a nice shade of blue. Which defies explanation, especially since there is barely any functioning Democratic Party here.
