Who among you surveyed all the Wisconsin recall election post mortems and thought, hmm, even though we’ve heard from the New York Times, NPR and the Economist, something is still missing. Something with a healthy dollop of vindictive awfulness and a side of smug superiority…a
Interesting how state and local governments across the nation are smaller now than in January 2009. We got rid of all those unnecessary teachers, police officers and firefighters.
Federal government spending during the first Obama Administration has kept pace with inflation. That's it.
Overall job growth is done - although we have added some 4,000,000 new private sector jobs - because of the reduction in government payrolls.
The right wing nutz want smaller government - but, apparently, they don't want any government workers to lose their jobs.
Mr. Obama did not emulate Mr. Bush and dramatically increase the size of the Federal government.
Meanwhile, per Duh Gov'Nuh, let's be like Wisconsin. Let's be the last of the 50 states in employment growth. She sits on a throne of lies. Wisconsin's economy isn't even the best in the Midwest, let alone the nation.
Here's a fun little fact. Before Joan of Wasilla become the patron saint of the Tea Party, her hubby Todd worked for British Petroleum (BP) at the Prudhoe Bay complex. He was an hourly-wage worker and was either a member or beneficiary of the OCAW Union (Oil, Chemical, Atomic Workers), which itself is a pretty powerful group. She needs to quit shitting where she once ate.
as a (very) long time 'economist' reader, i feel compelled to point out that while your observation is not without some merit, there is a far more trenchant point to be made in noting that 'synergy' is overrated.
(actually, they have a surprising number of trolls. i guess everything and everybody does nowadays.)
Per Scott Walker: Police and firefighter unions are OK, so were exempted from his crackdown on thuggery. They are free to ignore the austerity Sarah Palin™ says everyone wants.
That one happy island doesn't want her. They'd have to change their slogan to "island haven for stupid cunts," which just doesn't have the same ring to it.
oh i think there are at least a few 'murican trolls judging from some of the exchanges i've had.
Les tetes a fromage?
I'm sure I'm missing several accent marks - don't know how to do that here on Wonkette.

Was that goose free-range or raised on the White House lawn?
Personally, I'd rather eat cooked goose in November than what the Republicans are going to dine on - raw crow.
Have you seen the latest Rasmussen poll? They always seem to be slanted towards the GNoP and the most recent national poll called a tie.
Meanwhile, "270, Baby! 270!"
Did (r)Money campaign for Scott Walker?

"...Obama’s goose is cooked..."
Now Palin is dissing the important turkey slaughtering industry she proudly put on display for the nation just a few years ago.

Quelle frommage!
