Recovering from a recent quadruple bypass, Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe explained that he would not have survived if he had been in a country with "socialized medicine like Obama is trying to impose upon America,” because insurance kills people.
Isn't it amazing how many maps of that kind there are? Or the other favorite, the map of US population density relabeled as whatever the point the author wishes to convince us of.
PS. This still applies if you only consider people who actually receive treatment, in other words, even if you ignore the barbarity of 1 in 6 Americans lacking access to necessary care, sacrificed on the alter of anarchocapitalism.
You know who I never hear telling horror stories about the Canadian health care system? Canadians. Although a young colleague who worked in Canada when his first children were born told me indignantly (this was a few months after he came back to the US) that his daughter had gotten a fever and he had to wait several hours at the ER for her to be seen, so he wasn't enamored of Canadian medicine. I didn't say anything since reality would be raising its ugly head soon.

I SAID IT WAS PRETTY DIDN'T I?
Oh, if only Inhofe was Oklahoma's only asshole.

Cheap - Doc just did a drive through.
No, that would be Louis Gomerpyle of Texas.
James Inhofe is a man who has no idea what coffee tastes like without the flavor of an underling’s spit
With this guy's head already up his ass you wouldn't think there would be any room left for misplaced coronary arteries.
Geeze, thanks Obama!

It's a simple organism thing.
A digital exam is not a math test you dumbass
I think they neglected to clear the arteries leading to his brain.
Well, some of those people might be poor and/or black, so you can see how he'd be concerned.
But yeah, he probably doesn't actually have a functioning heart, at least in the non-anatomical sense of the word.
Fuckwad does know that the NHS has better heart disease survival rates than the US doesn't he?
Doesn't he?
79 years ago an enormous colon had an Inhofectomy.
