This is your party of “business” that has brought their vaunted “get-‘er-done”, can do, deal making skills to inefficient, big government, sclerotic Washington to cut through all the special interest red tape. Great.

We’re fucked, and good and hard, until January 20, 2021.

American Exceptionalism is pretty awesome in many ways. Not so pretty but awesomely convenient for corner cutting. KY is one of the places you don't lightly visit or place your life in the hands of a stranger. I'm also a Canadian living in the US for >30 years, and a highly regulated/certified professional; our family has never been interested in living below the Mason-Dixon line. I love currently living in NY.

I wanted my stiff corpse loaded onto a Greyhound bus with a handful of tickets. That idea was rejected by family. Then I suggested loading my ashes into a mortar round and *BOOM* while someone said, "there she goes, gawd bless her", and again, rejection. Finally I suggested a pressure plate by my open coffin, so that when people stood there to stare at my remains, my own voice would pipe up with, "Don't I look like myself? I look 20 years younger! Didn't they do a great job?" along with other inanities people murmur at viewings. Rejected yet again.

So with such a stubborn family, I then decided to spitefully outlive every last one of them.

We are the opposite. Ex-pats living on Vancouver Island in a vacation home remodeled/renovated/expanded to become a year-round permanent residence. Home has been in the family for about 30+ years and year-round since 2016. I certified for Canada in 2015 not knowing exactly when we would be moving up, but that it would happen.

So post-turtle and actual-turtle are fighting?

Thank you for doing that. It is really hard on families deciding what arrangements to make for a loved one when they’re standing by the deathbed. It’s so much better to make arrangements in advance or at least know what those arrangements will be. Signed,A Hospital Chaplain Who Deals With This On A Nearly Daily Basis

Lion is better because you actually can mate a chihuahua and golden retriever.

It’s hard for them to even imagine passing a bill that doesn’t fuck the middle class. Now they have act like they care or then could lose their majority!

Isn't funding for the Post Office which equals mail-in voting in there somewhere too? So many issues so little time. McConnell screwed everyone to the wall waiting until the last minute to have a clown party.

Beautiful. I have a degree from UBC and my daughters were both in Vancouver. Enjoy Lotus Land; I have hiked the Carmanah several times. Right now my wife is studying in Germany and I have been going back and forth; she spent the corona virus lockdown start with me, and I'm thinking of going there for a few months, probably until Jan. Now I'm waiting on paperwork.

For the record, a Chihuahua can mate with a retriever...so long as it's a male Chihuahua...
