I agree with Mike except for the last sentence.

We didn't kick the OG Fascists' asses overnight, either.

A scenario which I saw on Cannonfire postulates that when the Russians broke into the GOP’s computers (the Democratic Party was not their only target), and the voting computers of several states, the Russians may have changed nothing.

Rather, the Russians may have discovered proof that the GOP was changing election totals, and had been changing them for several elections. If that be true, the Russians could ruin the GOP at any time, by releasing those facts--and so Putin owns them all now.

At least the GOP elite are getting to keep their wealth, power, and privileges in return for their treason.

The Orcs of the GOP base are willing to betray their country for nothing more than the “psychological wages of whiteness”, as DuBois would have put it. (And maleness, etc.)

They would crawl naked over broken glass to piss on Old Glory, then lick Putin’s arse, if Putin will only grant them the right to say the N-word and grab subordinate women by the pussy whenever they please.

White supremacy and male supremacy are helluva drugs.

Hey, if we let this thief into our apartment, he'll only steal our roommates' stuff and maybe even give it to us! No way we ever have to worry about him stealing our stuff. He's on our side.

How right you are, Cletus - has we been patient for a few more hours, our hopes would have been lifted. Heartened to learn that, since Pelosi couldn’t yet muster enough votes in full House, Team Nadler has been unleashed. You go, boy!

2016 was an exploratory attack that worked beyond Putin's wildest dreams. And since we've done nothing to prevent it from happening again, we can expect him to go all out in the 2020 and midterm elections, with the intent of putting in people he can control to his benefit.

We should have IMMEDIATELY gone back to paper ballots once we learned Russia had compromised elections.

Remember Karl Rove's reaction on election night? The GOP has been manipulating the votes for a while now.

Seems to me that some enterprising investigative journalist would be looking into how much stock Yertle owns in that new Aluminum plant the Russians are building in Kentucky.

Considering the companies that make them are now owned by Republicans, it's likely the corruption is built right in.

Doing it right and fairly is worth the investment in time. We don't need to know the results instantaneously.
