This week, the Senate tried to do something unusual -- they tried to tee up a piece of bipartisan legislation called the Justice For Victims of Human Trafficking Act. Because who could be against that? Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) had hoped to bring the bill to the floor to smooth over the bad feelings he caused when he hinted last week that the Senate was going to vote on a bill to let the Senate be
Why the fuck didn't someone read the shit before getting it out of committee???? On a related note, I am like so furiously writing a letter to my shitbag senators. One of them is the sponsor of this bill and is so so sad about this. Of course, he leaves out the part where he added abortion shit to a bill about SEX, where unwanted pregnancies are probably like, right fucking there, goddammit! But you know it's identical to the last bill, democrats just hate freedoms, children, and reading, and love forced sex.
He doesn't give a shit about bipartisanship. When this bill inevitably fails the Republicans get to claim that they "took a stand for life" and the evil babby murdering liberals thwarted them. Keep sending money so the rethugs can keep making fake stands and attempting to force their values on everyone else!
And the republicans are helping it right along. Forcing a pregnant person to carry a pregnancy they don't want is just a different form of human trafficking.
Great, you all just extended the lifespan of the "we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it" for the #tcot patriots who cite it at every chance (after 57 States and Corpsman.)
In response, Democratic Senators published an open letter to human traffickers informing them that any laws against human trafficking passed by this Congress can simply be undone by the next Congress.
Why do Democrats love human sex trafficking?
The Senate Republicans better watch out when the Democrats file their bill, the Justice for Victims of Non-human Sex Trafficking Act.

Well this will speed up the passing of even the most ordinary of bills in the future, for certain!
