Are they being such fuckers b/c they believe diabeetus = being overweight and being overweight = in people's control, so fuck you if you need insulin? Yeah, that one puzzed me. My theory is that Grassley's vote got switched with Hawley's. That's because Grassley is claiming he really voted yes and I can't figure any reason that Hawley would.

My dad, of blessed memory, depended on a daily insulin shot to survive. We were out shopping when he started to go into insulin shock, and somehow I got hold of a packet of sugar and some orange juice, which I poured down his throat so he would not die. Saving lives: not a Republican priority.
