I take this so to heart because my great uncle died of influenza in 1919. He was an Army private, having survived combat and the end of the war, waiting in France for a ship home. Instead the family got a telegram from the War Department. I got vaccinated in January, and started demanding a booster in June (got it in September.) Still wear a mask everywhere. I want to grab unmasked people in the street and scream "Uncle Thomas thought he was safe, too!" It's not funny, it's not a hoax, and it's not fucking over.

Dude dying of covid in hospital, his family is yelling on the phone to give him Vitamin C and Ivermectin, patient wants to be vaccinated, doc tells family he's dying and they should come visit him and say their goodbyes, family argues but comes, won't mask up and create scene at entrance, dude dies, doctor finds someone to cover his patients to go out and inform family, they punch him in the face breaking his nose and knocking him down, he declines to press charges when security comes for fear of getting marked by QAnon idiots and quits to go find a position in a non-patient facing field.
I always wondered if translators would pick a less inflammatory word when translating an outburst by some UN ambassador.
