This 2016 election is not looking all that great for the Republicans holding on to the Senate. Democrats only need to pick up five seats to retake control, and with Donald Trump at the top of the ticket, the Dems may manage to do even better than that. Colorado is one purple state where Republicans were hoping to take over a seat currently held by a Democrat, Michael Bennet, who's
Yup, and maybe paid by the signature or, or if paid by the hour, having to meet a stated or implied quota -- "You should be getting 30 names an hour..." Clear Creek did not do their job screening signatures on the turned in papers. Put a happy face on it and call it incompetence.
They never seem to cry about actual voter fraud...which is nearly always done by someone working for a GOP candidate.Just the fake type done by imaginary browns.
Keyser does a great Trump impersonation in that interview. He's a shoo-in for Vice President. Assuming he's not in jail after the elections and Trump wins. Neither looks likely.
I usually sign ballot measure petitions, even if I don't fully agree with them. People in Oregon usually vote influenced by two things; how much will it cost me and is this even sensible? 'No gay marriage' was the only exception I made to signing. And it got shot down repeatedly anyway.
Easy, smart response is to tell the truth: "People were hired to collect signatures, and it would be very unfortunate if one of them forged signatures rather than doing their job of collecting them. We certainly don't want or approve of this."
But no, this dipshit chooses to stonewall, even after having had plenty of time to think about how to respond to the problem. Whatever you think of the signature scandal, you sure as hell don't want this dolt in the Senate.
History has its inflection points, lineages, watersheds and interregna. All of these except the last go virtually unnoticed by all but academics and some of the intelligentsia. I just try to add some perspective for those of us whose knowledge of events before 1980 is derived, by necessity, from secondary sources. My selection of illustrative material is truncated to suit my own (selfish) purposes -- and to avoid pedantry. I am not always successful at the latter.https://www.youtube.com/wat...

It is weird how many republican signature gatherers move in the middle of gathering their signatures. Seems trending or something.
I'd be ok with it but....you know, I just have the feeling were it a Dem, they'd have dissallowed it. I just get that feeling.

Minimum wage earners are the typical paid gatherers. They end up moving a lot looking for a decent place near their current job.
But it is not really working for him. He just sounds like a hysterical child throwing the biggest tantrum of the week.
Sound like they had trouble getting the bare minimum. Which also does not bode well for the Rebs on Colorado.
