Only one way to respond to this story:

We cannot continue the victimization and the smearing of someone like Dr. Ford.

You win the $2 for the "My Favorite Story" category! Mazie is one of my favorite Senators. I loved it when she said the word, "okole." Haven't heard that word since I was a kid.

Happy birthday, Librarian. May your next trip around the sun bless you with love, health, peace, abundance, prosperity, integrity, laughter, tears, friendship, courage, compassion, creativity, community, and joy. This is a day late because I was in Shul for the Day of At One Ment. Aarggghhh!

I read the Snopes explanation and couldn't help but laugh. It's the same old thing--people hear what they want to.

I wonder if she will get 10% of the press about "courage" John McCain received. Or even 1%.

The Republicans come on TV saying that the Democrats are using Dr. Ford to"politicize" the process of confirming a Supreme Court Justice - this from the same people who refused for ELEVEN MONTHS to even consider a hearing for Merek Garland. What it because he was unqualified or had skeletons in his closet? NO-O-O-O-O!!! It was something even worse - he was nominated by a Democrat; not only that but a Black Democrat! ("Oh, the horror!")

If you took every grain of sand in the Sahara Desert and wrote "hypocrisy" on it 10,000 times, it would still not equal the level of hypocrisy displayed by the corporate prostitute Repukelicans in the Senate who want to fast track this confirmation.

Someone please tell me that at least 10,000 women are planning to show up on the National Mall this weekend.
