This is a useful reminder that “younger” is not an ideology. You can put a 40-year-old face on the same donor-friendly cowardice and it’s still the same damn product with updated packaging. If voters want generational change, give them new ideas, new courage, and somebody willing to defend vulnerable people when it costs something. Otherwise you’re not passing the torch. You’re just changing the batteries.
The best rebuttal to the foaming at the mouth from a Republican over trans kids in sports is to ask them if they know any trans adults, or if they know any high school women athletes in general (cis or trans.) You might get a Serena Williams or a Simone Biles or another professional name, but most of them can't even list the women's SPORTS TEAMS at their local high school, let alone any names of women college athletes. And most Republicans don't know any trans adults.
