They, of course, hope no one outside their communities notice anything, either.
The wives and daughters of those churches, again somewhat like their Islamic counterparts, are subject to a far different standard. It's known as the need "to behave like Caesar's wife." At least, Fundies of the Christian sort (most anyway) no longer maim, torture and kill their women to "balance" the shortcomings of their menfolk as many Islamic fundies are wont to do.
The principle of the sin eater or Judas goat is older than Islam or Christianity. So far as I know, Eve was the first official sin eater and all her female descendants were designated sin eaters to the end of time as far as god bothering fundies of the "People of the Book."
