I live here too and Dupnik certainly is head and shoulders above that asshat up north. He's far from perfect though, don't forget about Jose Guerena- that whole situation was quite ugly.
most of those dipshits are retirees in places like Sun City who don't give a shit about anything other than the perceived unfairness of having to pay property taxes to fund schools now that their children and even grandchildren are past school age. Other than grousing about that, they sit around the rec center and poison their minds with Faux News and obsess about the brown skinned people they see on the streets who aren't trimming the grass or raking leaves at the moment. I just really hope that when the inevitable happens the Justice Dept charges Arpaio with murder under the Yamashita standard. I don't see any way his actions are not a clear dereliction of command responsibility.
