Well, I have stressed about this mightily, and it has been a stressful process, but I’ve almost completed filling out my many-paged, much-decisioned retirement application. Part of the stress has been the realization that there are some things over which I have no control, and decisions that other people make for themselves—albeit stupid ones— that I just need to accept and move on and put behind me.
But yay for me for finding out stuff and figuring out stuff and finishing up stuff. No way out but through.
After the meeting, Trump predicted the package would ultimately pass the House, which Republicans control by a narrow majority of 220-213. “It was a meeting of love,” he said. He did not address Harris’ concerns.
Ya know, when I read of the “arrest” of *only* McIver among the several members of Congress, I naturally thought, “I bet she’s Black, and that’s why they’re arresting her.” Damned chalkdemons just can’t help themselves. They just can’t miss the opportunity to make an example of Black people to reinforce their presumed second-class status.

One of my first favourite books, as a lil' kidlet, was called 'Capybara', and it was about a family who had a capybara as a pet. I don't have that book anymore - does anyone else remember it?

OTOH, he's a landlord, and he knows you pass any cost increases (water bill, property taxes, maintenance) on to the renter. The increase you demand is always greater than the increase in cost.
