Can we agree that the baby being OK is a good thing? Maybe we can agree on that. A three-year-old boy fell into a gorilla exhibit at the Cincinnati Zoo Saturday, and after a 400-pound male Western lowland silverback gorilla grabbed the child, zookeepers
We didn't name the family for a reason. Yes, the information is out there. We may decide to name them later. I see you've posted her name here more than once -- trying to encourage harassment/shaming? Take that shit elsewhere, please. This is the only warning you get.

I'm assuming it was built in the 30s, because it seems to be that sort of grotto design--from verbal descriptions. I'd add, that there are thousands, and hundreds of thousands of people whop've been tot he zoo, and didn't get into the enclosure. Yes, one is one too many, but perfection isn't possible.
Remember 1986, when Baby Jessica fell down the well? I do not remember one single person writing anything AT ALL about how her auntie (whose house she was at), her mother, or her father was neglectful, bad, evil, or anything else for "letting her" fall. The internet is the problem--people who are anonymous and given a forum will entertain themselves with this vile nonsense. Before that, only people who had more or less proven they weren't insane had access to the sort of media that got their opinions a public airing.
I'd imagine water cooler conversation was plenty judgmental, though. And a sampling of letters to the editors of some papers might turn up some rants about her Terrible Parents (who were teens at the time). I don't know that the internet has made people any worse; it's just given the worst a megaphone.
Hmm.. I chose the "delete all comments in last 30 days" option, and I'm not seeing anything deleted past today (only went back a week. So whatever happened to Cool Hand Nuke (who does sound familiar) I think this was just a moron who had no idea what Paul Newman's politics were like.

I heartily recommend wine and a dog.
And then possibly cute videos of dogs.
I'm sure she's getting phone calls, and doesn't need to read anything to know what's being said.
Tell me about the rabbits, George.
With a can of clams!
Maybe they are all suppressing those times when their kids got away, and that's why they have to be so passionate.
And fuck me, I've Pinkhamed.
Baffles me, Dok, it really does. I remember pre-Disqus he was, if I remember correctly, Cool Hand Nuke? He was usually pretty damn funny.
Seeing that fucking Jemima post was sort of like watching Kramer do his N word freak out, I didn't see it coming.
You are wise, and I shall take your words to heart.

And if that second child was unplanned...
Comment history is hidden, but I'm assuming this is not a regular.
Edit: you are, of course, correct. I should've known better, and apologize for even thinking the former Cool Hand Nuke would say such things. Sorry.

Hadn't seen 'em before but I'm still new.
