This is the right place to draw a hard line. Ignore the ruling if and when it comes. Impeach away; protecting women’s health is worth it.

Apologies in advance for not reading carefully; I'm sure the writer worked hard at said words. But I am just fucking livid this morning. Indict? Not indict? 'Our' judge for our side?

I've said that the Supreme Court is illegitimate, or even that it's dead. Folks may not like that. But 'my' anti-abortion judge? Their Circuit Court? Our Appeals Court? There is no singular 'Court' and no Supreme Court. There's just a battle in the balkanized landscape, masquerading as justice ... for the right kind of people.

Balls and strikes, Mr. Roberts? It's dead, and you have blood all over your hands. Don't tell me about justice ... until it exists.

If they allow this judge to ignore science and remove a FDA approved drug/treatment protocol, what happens next? Will they shop this judge to overturn approval of the Covid vaccine? Other vaccines? Will this judge outlaw gender-affirming care nationwide? This seems, to me, to be a separation of powers issue. It doesn’t make sense that a judge would be able to declare, without any evidence, that a drug or treatment is “unsafe”, contrary to actual established scientific evidence.“A group of rightwing surgeons are seeking an injunction against washing their hands and wearing gloves during surgery, claiming that modern hygiene practices and germ “theory” are WOKE!”

The Supreme Court smashed judicial restraint with Bush v Gore and Citizens United long before dobbs.

Those rulings made dobbs possible

That is their plan.

I want doctors making medical decisions. Not judges not politicians not insurance companies

If Biden wrings his hands and says, essentially, that it’s downright sinful how the GQP takes away rights and that it’s up to us to vote them out because the POTUS simply can’t do anything about it, we are leaving and taking our three votes in AZ with us.

You can tell Biden we said Goodbye.

Period. Period. Period.

I don't see any good options. So might as well go with this one and hope for the best.

“The endgame is to stop as many abortions as possible by any means necessary," Donley said.

Absolute bullshit. We already know what "stops as many abortions as possible," and making it illegal IS NOT THAT!!!!

If they actually wanted fewer abortions, they'd support things like universal health care, living wages, affordable housing and child care, flexible work environments, treating raising children and home management as the jobs they are, etc, etc, etc. All things they not only want nothing to do work but are also on their To Destroy list.

Can’t we get retroactive abortion for Alito, Kavenaugh, Coney-Barrette and this creep?

When the opinions get written, we can turn around and use the same arguments to get boner pills banned and marijuana decriminalized.
