A family member was an addict and not able to get help with his addiction.

He's dead now. Thanks, repubs.

The thing is, he's not stupid. I can't wrap my mind around the fact that these people are more interested in power, money, and rich people than the Americans they are supposed to be working for.

That's not how this is supposed to work.

My thought exactly. It's all good if you put "Republican" in front of it.

I have a hunch that they could put his dead body on a platform for the vultures to eat, like some native American tribes or people in the Himalayas, and the birds would shit on him and refuse to eat him.

Not just the people who voted for trumpie. I'm calling out the ones who didn't bother to vote period. Unless you have evil repub legislators in your state who gerrymandered the fuck out of it or voted for draconian voting laws, you don't get to be all indignant and butt-hurt.

Yes, I'm a broken record, but damnit, only approximately 57% (if I remember correctly) of Washingtonians voted in this election. WTF?

I once met a nice lady from Janesville at my then-local Cheers bar. Being the charming person that I am, and knowing that Wisconsin is a breeding ground for serial killers, I asked her if Janesville had produced any. She responded cheerfully, "Not unless you consider Paul Ryan a serial killer."

Good thought. There are those who think badly of ObamaCare, but are okay with the ACA, apparently unaware that they are ONE AND THE SAME.

So, if it's all about the marketing, then a simple rebranding may do the trick.

ESAD. Also, mature people are not bothered by other's opinions, either they are true or they are not true. In either case how can they be irksome, you fucking shitbird.

I'm completely immune from any potential changes, but I give a shit about everyone who isn't. I guess that separates me from conservatives.

We're not talking new medications, here. We are talking about drugs already on the market and approved by the FDA. And furthermore, it's not like Europe didn't learn from Thalidomide. They have a thorough testing regimine in place equal to the FDA.
