Hey y'all! Did you have a wild time on New Year's Eve? Was it like, shooting off fireworks wild? Was it so wild the cops came and arrested you and every one of your friends just for being at the party? Did you know that that was even a thing that could happen? Do you even party, bro?
If you are a "kid", then yeah getting caught drinking with your friends isn't going to get you jail time. That really is another shocking example of racism.....
White, upper middle class parents do get prosecuted, but only if there is a fatal accident following a party at their house, and they don't get significant jail time. Sorry, this case is pretty old, but the law hasn't changed appreciably. http://www.chicagotribune.c...
This woman from Northbrook got 40 hours of community service (and was mighty disgruntled about it). But what do you want? Nobody died. /s http://articles.chicagotrib...
if it wasn't for nearby Georgia Power Plant, Plant Bowen, Cartersville, Ga would only be a rest stop on I-75!Contact the police dept and make fun of of them - legally! http://www.cityofcartersvil...http://www.bartowga.org/dep...
Could be? Might be? Less than one ounce of marijuana was found, total. Clearly the cocaine wasn't in everyone's "reach and control" and since no one at the party could have had access to the knowledge the gun was stolen, much less possessed it, the gun is mostly irrelevant. I would be surprised if guns were illegal in relation to alcohol in Georgia unless another crime were involved, which is not surprising but still troublesome given the lack of control and depression associated with alcohol... but not with cocaine or marijuana. but hey war on drugs!
Faux morality would dictate a different response if the party had been populated by wealth, white, republicans.
The only judgement I have made about this issue is there was "stupidity" on the part of some of the party goers. When you mix drugs, minors and guns, its a bad scene. If it was a different social strata, I would say the same thing.
If you disagree, best of luck to you. Like I said, a combination of those things isn't something you want to have to explain to a judge. I hope you are never faced with that situation.
Those items belonged to someone. Are you advocating for the illegal possession of semi-automatic guns?
As I said, I don't think the police should have arrested everyone. However, someone(s) could be looking at serious consequences for some bad decisions.
Yeah! That was a great version of that song.
That graphic is a JOKE which illustrates the ridiculous nature of this claim.
I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume these gestures are not used in your culture.

I am totally and completely shocked and amazed that Christopher Cantwell and Augustus Invictus were originally Libertarians.
A predominately male "lingerie" party with jello-shots and drunken-strip-twister..... Guess I dodged a bullet....
Your faux morality is duly noted. Perhaps you, Carrie Nation, and Roy Moore could throw a party.

No shit, what a drag. Bet he's fun at parties.
I'm glad to see that our government is concentrating on the real problem, which appears to be unicorn slippers

I saw the Running on Empty tour in Portland, Maine. He's coming to the Van Wezel in Sarasota (where I live) again on Jan 15th.
Nice! I wish I could be there. One of the greatest songwriters ever!
