it's already happening to women.

Well, thanks for that, though I don't really need an explanation of what a joke alleged "liberal bias" is, not even from Uncle Frank. It would just be nice to see some actual attributions when you regularly toss things out that "the media" supposedly says or does. Like I said, it just seems a little too easy to lay so many wrongs at their feet just based on generalizations.

Pet peaves, I has 'em...

The builders of the Ariel East, Extel, bought air rights from a nearby landmarked church (interiors and windows by Tiffany). It bought some other air rights and stacked them - which used to be legal. So it got away with building that ... thing without any means of preventing it. But this was the building that sparked the successful effort to landmark the district, so that highrises are now capped at 16 stories.

Harlem needs protection stat. It's full of low-rise beautiful buildings, almost entirely unprotected and ripe for the greedy paws of the big developers.

As for the bird-murdering excrescence known as Hudson Yards ... fuck, I'd settle at this point for them not using mirrored glass. I suppose the only good thing to be said about it is that if Bloomberg's original wet dream hadn't been stopped, that would be a football stadium, which would be even worse. I keep trying to find out the occupancy rate, given that the entire thing is luxury market offices and housing. The rental rate is high, but most likely a big percentage of that is kleptocrats parking their cash in empty units. And zero affordable housing. Thanks, Bloomberg!

Luxury senior housing? That's adorable.

So basically can claim tax breaks and still charge premium rates.

This is such a bizarre request. I mean, my entire comment history consists of posting bias from very specific things that media figures have said and making fun of them. I point out things they say every single day. Others have done so as well. I find it very hard to believe that you could miss these unless it’s on purpose. If I want to make a general statement about the state of our current media today I don’t need to rehash every single specific thing someone has said.

Take your pick; Tucker Carlson, Chuck Todd, Chris Cillizza, The NY Times, Ross Douthat, David Brooks, Jake Tapper, Andrea Mitchell, Peggy Noonan, Liz Bruenig, Glenn Greenwald…anyone at Fox, most of CNN, OANN, Newsmax, MSNBC is guilty as well…do you really need a comprehensive list of the usual suspects every time I say the word media?

Terrific list, and just think an entire cottage industry around educating the incarcerated could be born.

My first production program was in BASIC. Really not a bad language to learn some basics of programming.

Never. It is an iron-clad rule of modern American society. "Laws do not apply to certain people"

You miss my point pretty widely, but I don't see much to gain for either of us going any further on the topic. Sorry to have intruded.

Interestingly, Jared Kushner pushed Chump to support it. My cynical view is that it was a play for Black votes by the GOP.

Look, what I do is supposed to be satire. I may not be citing specific things people in the media say but they are ACTUAL real things someone has said.

For example: when I say…

Media: Joe Biden is old. He shouldn’t run again.

Also media: If trump goes to prison he’s still eligible for office!

These things may not be actual quotes but they are very close to thing real media figures have said. And it’s not just one or two people. It’s multiple pundits who have this view. It’s pretty ubiquitous. Which is why I’m so confused as to why you give me a hard time about it. 🤷‍♂️
