Can we in the UK have him instead? I'd much rather have him on the telly than Boris bloody Johnson.

That shot of Mr. Hunter describes the GOP perfectly: Clouds of smoke...while they steal your money.

It strikes me that I do not think many poor people nor POC get to plead not guilty by reason of once having helped an old lady across the street. Is that more white privilege or rich privilege?

It’s one thing to “know” about Individuals 14-18, which she probably did, and an entirely ‘nother thing to know about Individuals 14-18. Of course the missus was going to waive spousal privilege. I’d be worried about her mental state if she decided to take full blame to protect ol’ Duncan.

We are missing a very salient point regarding Duncan Hunter's innocence. He was supported by the Family Research Council, and numerous anti-abortion groups. His office pledges support for "family oriented solutions."

Clearly this gives him a blank check to be an ass. I'm sorry, that should read "corrupt ass."

My guess is she didn't just flip, but did more like two and a half gainers with a twist.

He's in the high motivation/deeply incompetent quadrant of staff officers. He's exactly what I'd expect from approximately 10% of reserve Majors. Particularly Marines.

Everything he's been accused of is exactly what dingbat officers are either jammed up for or shuffled off somewhere and stapled to a desk if the command doesn't want drama. It's just all writ large because he had a bigger field to play on.

Regardless since the schmucks that reelected decided that they wanted this because they were afraid his opponent was too foreign seeming I'm just going to enjoy the schadenfreude.

The ugly thing is it does. He was reelected after most of this was already public. The lack of any sort of ethical backbone of the so called moral(by themselves) right would be shocking if it wasn't so damned expected.

Not to mention when he publicly threw her under the bus when he basically said anything hinky must have been her fault since she was the campaign manager. Real piece of work that guy.

It's impressive but Hunter has basically struck me as every half-wit incompetent Major I've had the pleasure of being exposed to so fact while the fact that Boehner is both smarter than and has more self control than Hunter may be sad it is the opposite of surprising.
