I asked you to show your work. Particularly about this just being a wealth transfer.

So far we have your unsubstantiated claims.

I'd look it up but you still haven't told me how to get around the Google/CIA conspiracy that taints any results I'll find.

This shouldn't be that had for you.

Unless there's no work to show because you made up claims to fit your conclusion? That couldn't be it, could it?

I've seen more than one Libertardian (spelling deliberate) propose a return to allowing child labor.

I spent a couple of weeks in Moscow training on a software package my employer was going to support. Apparently the Soviets built apartment complexes in clusters. In the middle of each cluster was a playground, in the basement of one of the buildings of the cluster was a creche which doubled as a community room when not in use.

(And the cluster was all heated by a single heat plant, far more efficient than individual heaters, and each group of clusters had a market.)

i kind of wish there was a retraining program running too, for people whose job will be closed down as we move away from polluting industry to cleaner ones - that way the jobs being created are not a threat to the people who've only ever (for example) mined coal and now have to look for work - bonus incentives to go to companies who hire people from that program - my 2 cents worth

Without labor, there is no capital. The CEO will have to establish on the job training programs. Boo. Hoo.

The government is supposed to act as Labor's advocate against corporate power. When government fails to protect labor, workers form unions to level the playing field in negotiations with capital.Work requirements for welfare is punishing the poor and disabled for being poor and disabled.

The other word is “family.”

Why would we want to perpetuate the tyranny of tradition, patriarchy, and monogamy?

Fuck "The Family!"

Time for us to eliminate the religion of Americana and it's false gods (Whoops! Tautology!) : Washington, Jefferson, Madison, and (singing) Alex-ander Ham-il-ton.
