If they pay in exposure dollars, it looks like someone's overdrawn.

Good point, but not totally relevant to the <i>US</i> healthcare market.

where are you hearing this in reality? here in IL we can't get any rates / plans yet. you can't get any rates on the obamacare website either.

just curious.

Well, just for comparison, before I went on Medicare I had an individual HIPAA plan (because it was all a 64-year old could get) that had a $5000 deductible and paid mostly 70%, but for some things only 50%.

It cost $1150 a month, so $728, for example, would have looked pretty good.

In a perfect world, Twitter would take away one character, for a whole week, whenever you posted something particularly stupid. That way, the derpiest dopes in the wingnuttosphere would soon find themselves with 20-character limits, or less.

And yes, the President should get extra characters. Because he's the fucking President.

Today's news in my Marxist Liebrul Northron state of NY is full of detailed explanations of <a href="" target="_blank">exactly why NY residents will pay a lot less for healthcare than those folks juuust across the river there,</a> with their incredibly <strike>fat</strike> popular GOP governor:

"A plan that will cost New Jersey's uninsured $382 dollars a month, for example, will cost New Yorkers $319 dollars. New Jersey residents will also have fewer choices: the state's online marketplace will offer 29 plans, compared to the national average of 53."
