From our good pal and Happy Nice Time People alumnus Kaleb Horton comes an epic tale of Mistaken Reading. Usually, the "fake thing mistaken for real thing" stories we most often see result from some poor doofus getting taken in by a satirical fake-news (or just stupid fake-news) website, like that one congressman who thought
You really expect humorless rightwing fuckwads to appreciate a joke? I bet they don't appreciate the new, bigger, and better joke, which is that the humorless rightwing fuckwads didn't even know it was a joke. They were probably incensed to "discover" that Denham had about double their own IQs - that had to hurt almost as bad as the realization that Barack Obama is so much smarther than they are. Also quite amusing is that it was only conservatwatters who failed to see what should have been patently obvious.
There's so many levels of humor here, it's hard to know what to laugh about first.

I used to copy edit those. The letters were from real people, and you could tell which ones were real events and which ones were fantasies before the editing removed references to race, location, etc.
I still remember the one from the shoe salesman fondly.
Also, her parents are semi-famous. And some people think she's funny. And she's not conventionally beyootiful so she can do the feminist thing. (Which is how Hollywood does feminism.)

Capital is dead labour, that, vampire-like, only lives by sucking living labour, and lives the more, the more labour it sucks."

What, no exigencies?

I can't wait until she goes all Alfred North Whitehead on their asses. You know she's just saving it up.
Say, you know who else exploited easily-outraged people with hearsay and unverified claims, for political gain?
I'm looking forward to Fox in Stocks
