Its probably some douchenozzle who'll still be covered by his parents' insurance until he's 25. Thanks Obama.

My first thought is change employers. You essentially got a cut in pay (remember those all-hands meeting where HR sings and dances about how your benefits are a significant part of your compensation, so stop comparing your paycheck to other companies' paychecks?). I like to remind my HR people of that every time I find out what shitty thing they 'negotiated' into our plan this year.

But, I know: finding a better job is easier to say than do. Especially if you like other parts of the job.

Oh no, they all went back to being RIGGED again!?

How fast can Trump change his opinion about polls before his minions catch a clue? It's "within the same sentence" isn't it?

Definitely Obamacare's fault. Because doctors always stayed put before the ACA.

Oh, I did. As soon as my stock vested and my non-compete expired, I went directly to their biggest competitor in the region. My wife also switched jobs to a public school district, rather than a private, special-ed school, so now I have insane benefits, a healthy stock account, and I'm winning business from my old employer every day.

What kind of health care did you have? If it was through your company, there should not be any connection with the ACA, except the company administering it can't charge outrageous fees and has to provide a minimum amount of coverage. On the other hand, many of the people covered by the ACA now would be paying many times more than current rates, if they could get insurance at all. Thirteen years ago, I was paying over $500 a month at age 52 for a private insurance policy. I had had back surgery and the policy would not cover anything to do with my back. And the next year, they cancelled and the next cheapest policy was $800 a month. I had to change jobs to find one with a group plan. Even earlier than that, someone I knew who was 60 and had diabetes but still working and in good health had a quote of $2,000 a month. This would have been about 2001. She tried to apply and they changed their mind and would not issue a policy. Rates have probably tripled since then. So the people complaining need to look at the source if they are on a company policy, and look at the alternatives if they are on ACA.

And anyone who has insurance under the ACA and thinking of voting for Trump needs to consider what I just wrote.

Answer one question. How is a single mother with two kids, making $28,000 a year, supposed to put anything into an HSA? Once you come up with that answer, I will say you are on to something. Although it's a slim limb you are on since all it will really do is allow you to pick a higher deductible insurance plan if you really want insurance and not just enough to cover a down payment on a $100,000 bill for cancer treatment. You can easily run through $5,000 in a few hours at an emergency room, triple that for same day surgery.

You are paying for that Medicare coverage in your Federal taxes but Rick Scott refuses to accept it.

It seems to me that your beef is with Rick Scott.
