I have been yelling at Millennials for a very long time now, mostly about how they are like "waaah I do not want to wear pants to this job," and "waaah,I'm Brody and I am a little jerkbaby!" and "waaaah I am voting for Gary Johnson because Hillary Clinton reminds me of my mom, and moms are TEH WORST!"
I voted for Anderson also too. The offspring said I should think outside the two-party paradigm, so I told him "I fell for a third-party candidate the first time I voted in 1980...do you think you invented it?"
Now, every time I see a picture of Jimmy Carter, I mentally apologize
I'm a millennial, and if I was in the US, I would be voting Hillary no contest. That said, the whole 'millennial' designation is BS. It groups me, nearly 30, alongside my 19-year-old cousin. No thank you.
Yes, as a 28 year old, I find myself almost being embarrassed by the label of millenial.
I used to consider myself very liberal. But now, thanks to mainly millenial liberals, I label myself as more of a pragmatic progressive due to the whole hyperactive political correctness movement where they want to make offending anyone ever, no matter how slightly or accidental, a crime punishable by death.
Also, they are like the Left's ideological equivalent of the Tea Party on the Right. For them, the fact that they only agree with Hillary on 98% of issues might as well make her just as bad as Trump, a person they literally disagree on virtually everything. Not even Obama and Bernie pleading with them to please vote and to vote for Hillary is enough.
Many of my fellow millennials declare that Baby Boomers are the worst generation ever....And, frankly I think we are right.
Baby Boomers have done nothing to address climate change despite knowing about it for years. Their embrace of Reagan and Republican voodoo trickledown economics created the conditions that led to the Great Recession and the massive amount of income inequality we see today.
Electing the worst President in modern history in Bush 43 and continuing to embrace the neo-con interventionist policy started by Reagan is why we have been at war for a decade and a half and led to the creation of ISIS. "Paying" for those said wars with massive multi-trillion dollar tax cuts is why the federal debt is so large.
The failed war on drugs and get tough on crime approach has created the mass incarceration we see today.
Oh, and all of that great American infrastructure that was built by the Greatest Generation has fallen apart because of your lack of invest and now it's going to take $5 trillion plus just to repair current infrastructure.
The Baby Boomer generation is the first one to leave this country and planet in worst shape then when they received it.
So, I think is millennials have a reason for our frustration. However, millennials really now hold the power. Obama won by winning big margins among minority and young voters. Well, Hillary Clinton is going to likely outperform Obama on the margins she wins the minority vote by. For her to become President she needs millennials, who absolutely detest Trump, to show up and vote...FOR HER, not Johnson or Stein.
If we allow Trump to become President then we will earn the distinction as WORST generation ever by allowing the WORST candidate ever to become President. We will make America the laughingstock of the world. We will allow a man to become President that wants to erase nearly ever progressive achievement made in the 20th and 21st century by filling SCOTUS with more extreme versions of Scalia. We will allow a man to be elected that likely has a 50-50 chance of starting World War 3.
We millennials, the ones who care so much about marriage equality and want to help bring an end to racism and sexism and bigotry and hate will have to explain to minorities and the LGBT Community, the ones who have by far the most to lose under a Trump Presidency, why we couldn't put country and common decency over our own pride and ideological beliefs. We will have to explain why we couldn't vote for a person in Hillary that, yes is flawed, but is also highly qualified, competent, and that we literally agree with on 98% of issues.
If Trump wins then no more blaming our presecsssors for ruining this country as Millenials will own that distinction with an exclamation point!
I'm a Gen-X'er and I have been lumped in with baby-boomers a few times. Why? I have no idea.I'm only 46. One Baby-Boomer once told me that was close enough, lol.

It's kinda sad what happened to Michelle Shocked. She probably could have still had a good career. http://www.hollywoodreporte...
