Yes, so disappointed. I wonder how she thought she could convince them she was "predominantly Native American," looking pretty much Swedish or something.

Of the very worst kind, in my book! I only hope she didn't lure those little children into that life.

Finally we get how she stays so thin. That just doesn't happen taking 100,000 selfies.

Here is Wonkette's own (former) Wonderbitch on the matter:

https://bravenewsblog.com/2...

---You can see in this video that the protesters were respectful, they were knowledgeable, and they absolutely did not seem to be paid by anyone to protest Warren. Liz just wasn’t saying what they wanted to hear.

They even brought up the fact that Liz had choice for her kids and reminded her that her children went to private school. Liz said no, her kids went to public school. Which is not true. She wasn’t being honest. Also, she did lie. Just saying.---

This doesn't matter to me because the Republicans tricked me into caring. This matters to me because Liz fucking straight-up lied when she should have told the truth.

As mentioned at the start of this, I will give Liz (or any candidate) a break when all they're doing is simplifying inconsequential details. But Liz here is trying to mislead. It's a deliberate act on her part, a bald-faced lie told directly to a critic who has an actual point to make. It tells us something about her.

Back to Wonderbitch:

---I said to Mike this morning that I was wondering if Warren is just punking us to see how much god awful shit she can get Liberals or Leftists to say, to agree to, get them to do, get them to cover up for her, how much they will dismiss, or what they will make excuses for before she reveals that she is still GOP. Or something. Yeah. Cool.---

Because Wonderbitch has a point: you Liz-stans have demonstrated nothing so much as a willingness to defend every last thing she does, even when she's clearly in the wrong. How very Republican of you.

You could be better than the Republicans, but that starts with holding your candidates to some standards. Until you do that, I see no meaningful difference.

She convinced them, I imagine, because it was convenient for them to take her word for it, so that they could claim to have a minority woman in their law school. From Harvard's own paper, circa 1996:

https://www.thecrimson.com/...

==="The fact that there never have been Asian Americans, Native Americans, gays, lesbians, Latinos, Latinas and women of color [on the faculty] is a subject of major concern," said Wilkins, who is black.

Of 71 current Law School professors and assistant professors, 11 are women, five are black, one is Native American and one is Hispanic, said Mike Chmura, spokesperson for the Law School.

Although the conventional wisdom among students and faculty is that the Law School faculty includes no minority women, Chmura said Professor of Law Elizabeth Warren is Native American.===

Now here's the thing. Harvard was trying to be sleazy and do the wrong thing, and Liz -- an accomplished law professor in her late 40s -- knew exactly what they were doing. She was complicit in it. She was on the wrong side of a very basic matter of principle. Even a child could understand that what she was doing was wrong, So why couldn't Liz?

I could see Sarah Palin or Ann Coulter pulling the same move, and the progressive world would excoriate them for it. Well, fucking demonstrate a little bit of consistency and moral backbone: it's wrong no matter who does it, and if it happens to be someone you like, maybe you ought to take it up with them rather than make excuses for it. Being progressive shouldn't mean acting like the Republicans.

Let's see, what do I care about in what I know about Elizabeth Warren??? How would this behavior you describe duplicate itself in the conduct of foreign affairs, or negotiations with Congress? Not in any way that I can see.

Doesn't this scandal belong on Fox News? They're the ones who were shocked that AOC had those expensive clothes which-- according to their understanding of socialism-- proved she was nothing but a cheap party girl.We know what Warren's been doing the past ten years. As far as I'm concerned she can be a billionaire.

He has taken no money from "unnamed" people. All donors are a matter of public record. In donations from people who work for big tech companies he is third, behind Warren and Sanders and only slightly ahead of Yang.

A site that calculates percentiles for net worth by age bracket put Pete at 65th percentile for his age, Bernie at 92nd, Liz at 99th."mckinsey only keeps consultants for 2 years FFS" Who is trying to tell you such absurdities? It may be true that it is common for people to burn out quickly there, but the "career path" site has this to say, "Moving from one position to the next typically takes 1 to 3 years. So becoming a partner can take 10+ years, depending on your starting level and speed to promotions."

I am drawing Social Security, while still doing a little part time work. It may be a surprise to you to know that my payments would be cut if I started earning more money; this "means testing" has always been a part of the program."is citing petes debt meant to make him sympathetic?" It indicates that he knows more about it than you do."he and his family could afford those schools" No, they couldn't. And the scholarships he earned did not cover it all either. He then married Chasten who brought in his own debt."he could easily pay them off with jobs like mckinsey consultant" He decides he was not serving a good purpose there, so he left. His income went from >100K his last year there to 7K the year following. But douchebags like you will never forgive him for having held a job at all.
