Maybe ten years ago, I was driving north on I-95, and when I reached the SC state line, I saw a billboard that read something like, "Welcome to South Carolina, first in violence against women, 50th in spending on violence prevention." I wasn't surprised by the information, but I was dumbfounded that someone in SC was spreading it, and was allowed to do so.

I think you're right, and it's impossible to snark. We had a very dangerous intersection here in my town that needed a traffic light - there were several people killed there - but it wasn't until a pregnant woman was killed and her fetus died that it got one.

The sooner Nikki realizes that Reps in large numbers aren't going to vote for her to be president, the sooner she can knock it off with the Stupid Republican Tricks, and the better off her constituents will be!

Why is it totally cool that felons get stripped of their right to vote (in some cases) and hold office (unless they were already in office when they committed the felony, apparently) but utter tyranny when a violent jackass is told he can't have his death toys any more?
