The wheels of justice may be slow, but the bumper of evil is brutally fast. And hard.

Blaming the impeachment for bringing up the loss to the victim's family and lived ones? Like they were wondering why Dad had not been showing up for dinner the last two years and now the mean legislature had to remind them he was dead instead of taking a long vacation in Tahiti.

Also, notice the weasel words "I believe I'm on the road." He knew he wasn't, otherwise he would have stated "I was on the road." Just like all the MAGATs believe Trump won in 2020, despite having no evidence after numerous investigations, audits and recounts. Those gut feelings the Republicans keep having seem to be either constipation or diarrhea.

A legitimate vehicular homicide would have ways of shutting that down.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned lately is that he was coming home from some GOP meeting/party at the time. Early on there was some discussion about just how drunk he was at the time, since he made damned sure that he didn't get a blood test. That all just sort of got quiet after a while.

"I believe I'm on the road and — wham. My life changes." Whew, you're going with that? Ok, well first off, 'believing' you're on the road isn't good enough. Xians may be surprised to learn that there are places in this country where what you believe don't mean shit compared to reality. Killing a man is one of those cases. You 'believed' you were on the road? Well fuck you, you weren't.

And.... YOUR life changes? YOUR fucking life changes? How about the human you killed? His life changed pretty dramatically. You could even say that life as he knew it came to a complete and total stop because YOU FUCKING KILLED HIM.

Cry me a fucking river, asshole. From jail.

Here's a conspiracy theory I could buy: I really think there must be something in the water that has turned so many people into a bunch of stupid, unaware and cruelly careless idiots.

Do the SF Police contemplate going to war at some point, or what is that motto all about?
