Haven't read this yet but I did see a Ben Shapiro tweet is quoted in this post. BRB, need my earplugs for the EARSPLITTING WHINE.

Nick Cage as the bad lieutenant or gtfo. With a sidecar of Harvey Keitel and Denzel Washington for good measure.

It's not who you know, it's who you blow.

I’m going on record now:

If they try to cancel Mayonnaise, if they try to force me to apologize or recant my Wonder Bread, I will not bend, I will not waver, I will not break.

On Egg the solid Salad I whine.

And I’m proud to be an American.

Thanks for the clarity - wasn't sure if it was that bad yet. Dammit.

It was sort of a custom to admit states two at a time, Something to do about party representation in Congress. Probably stems from the Missouri Compromise, where Maine was admitted at the same time as Missouri to balance out the slave-free numbers in the Senate.

It was why Alaska (Republican) and Hawaii (Democrat) were admitted the same year..... and why some people in the GOP aren't comfortable with admitting DC and Puerto Rico - they are both Democrat strongholds....

It should be possible to separate the artist's politics from the work.

One quibble. Shaun King has been on Twitter demanding all murals and stained glass windows with white Biblical people "come down". Have fun getting the Vatican to do that... or the thousands of churches across the US. That did strike me as a massive overreach and a bully good way to energize the opposition.

I've read that because of where it is, and the type of stone, those heads on Mount Rushmore will be the last human-made things to fade from the Earth.
