The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals' decision to reject a so-called “en banc” hearing comes several months after Trump appealed to the Supreme Court another jury’s decision to grant $5 million the writer, E. Jean Carroll, after concluding that he had sexually abused her in a department store dressing room in 1996 and later defamed her. The high court has not yet decided whether to hear the case.

They revert to 60 year old sales tactics, thinking if they get you in-person, face-to-face, that they can sweet talk/bullshit you.

Here in Michigan the leading GOP candidate for Senate, Mike Rogers, is a former GOP Congresscritter who moved from Michigan to Florida to be a health insurance lobbyist when he lost his seast. Couple years ago, when a Michigan Senate seat came up he bought a fixer upper house in Michigan, and stayed in Florida until local media called him out for not actually living in Michigan. He claimed he would move and fix up the house IF HE WON! He didn't, and if Republican voters want to give him a second chance, whatever motherfuckers. I don't know where he is living and honestly don't care. You fuckers want to vote for someone who.left the state the second he lost his seat, whatever, fuck you.
When I was working doing surveys on the phone, I overheard another section doing one where they had to read LePage quotes to the respondents. One involved comparing something Obama did to making people "take it in the butt without lubrication" or something like that; imagine reading that to some little old lady from Maine. Another was a quote about plastic bottles not being an environmental issue because "when you put them in the microwave, they just give off estrogen, and all that does is cause women to grow little beards."
