That would make sense, wouldn't it? Too bad it won't work that way, and that all the jerbs growth<a href="http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2013\/03\/18\/us\/facing-protective-orders-and-allowed-to-keep-guns.html" target="_blank"> will be for trauma surgeons and undertakers. </a>

"Green initially told the Free Press he wasn’t aware of the provision related to personal protection orders, and that it was his understanding people subject to PPOs would not be able to obtain concealed weapons permits under his bill."

No ironic quotation marks around "his"? The shameless fuckwad did as his NRA <strike>keepers</strike> contributors told him to do: "no need to read it, just sponsor it and vote for it. We'll take care of the rest."

Green also said that domestic violence victims should "make lemons out of lemonade" by getting their own firearm, then muttered something about stitches in time...

WTF are these people thinking? Yes, lets clear all the hurdles so Joe the wife beater can get a gun ASAP, better yet, a concealed carry permit so the victim can't even see that he's packing heat when he heads their way.

Weapons-grade stupidity.

Unfortunately, it's often the real morons and assholes who want to run for office - usually as "conservative" Republicans. And it's self-perpetuating: if you were rational, why would you want to run for office, if winning meant you had to deal with these cretins all day?

Well, who needs a gun more than a domestic abuser or a stalker? Do you have any idea how unpopular they are? Your average stalker is hard-working and dedicated, often spending countless hours in bushes, trees or hiding behind objects in dark spaces, with little access to the creature comforts. Yet these dedicated professionals are shunned by society. Thankfully, states like Michigan are looking out for them, making sure that these often hated individuals can protect themselves from people that would see them harmed or abused.

How could they not? Why you would have to be a brain-dead, dickheaded, worthless, piece-of-shit politician who's obviously on the take, to ignore the dangers faced by poor helpless victims everyday.
