How do they even say this isn’t totally racist with a straight face?

An apartheid neo-nazi food truck on every corner!!!!!! (I think would prefer a taco truck)

Wait that is any ICE's lunch truck in Minneapolis.

A little tangential, another idea for defining white supremacism: The belief that being 1.6% African American makes you 0% white.

ElderlyLoudCatWomyn's avatar

On some levels this is funny. White people rejecting trump is probably one of his biggest nightmares. I do hope the press follows some of these people around to get their take on the USA under trump. Further, it would be fun if at least a couple had negative interactions with ICE.

Way back in the Before Times, somewhere about 2000, The Mem and I visited the US. Without wishing to be an arse, the immigration officer had a very Latina name and strong accent. We were grilled on when we last worked and when we would work when we went home.

Apparently laughing out loud because we made more in the UK than we would in the US, and no, you couldn’t pay me to move there were the wrong answers.

But polite and white so no hay problema con La Migra.

Land Shark 🇺🇦 🏳️‍⚧️'s avatar

I still remain amazed that any person from a stable country would want to immigrate to the US.

VaselineHabits's avatar

... I think that's the joke.

OK, I'll leave now 😅

Ambiance Chaser's avatar

AI will probably take the "white jobs" first.

Just sayin' . . .

EyeQueue's avatar

It will. And the blue collar MAGAT hee haw hicks are twiddling their dicks b/c they're so happy.

Particularly, and one of the Palantir fuckers said it out loud, they want it to disrupt educated women's work and "stifle their economic and political power."

It's time to fucking FIGHT, people. Seriously.

Maureen's avatar

It's not like we have computers that can go out in the fields and harvest for nine or ten hours without overheating....

Fifth Dentist's avatar

There are already fruit sprayers that can spray entire orchards, with the nozzles varying the spray based on the height of individual trees. And there are weed sprayers that turn off and don't spray the crops, but do recognize weeds and turn on the nozzles to hit them.

Oh, and they can both be connected to tractors that do not need a human bean behind the wheel but can travel the correct route via GPS. They can do this on small fields like in the Southeast where one field will have a copse of woods extending into part of it or if it's a massive Nebraska soybean field the size of half a county.

Those have been around for several years, actually.

The irrigation units can be programmed to turn individual nozzles off when traveling over areas that are adequately watered and to apply extra water to dry spots. They can be told to turn off and on depending on the amount of rainfall the field has received.

So the US government hired illegal immigrants from Kenya to staff a Pretoria based program to assist South Africans in emigrating to the US. This timeline is so stupid.

I wrote about a post Boer War Afrikaner resettlement program supported by Teddy Roosevelt, that at least, it was largely self-supporting.. with much of the financial support coming from a Boer War themed "Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show"...https://mexfiles.net/2010/03/30/out-of-africa-via-teddy-roosevelt-a-circus-and-francisco-i-madero/

Teddy loved him some eugenics.

10k, 50k whites per year moving here is peanuts

Women in industrialized countries won't have 10 kids any longer no matter if a few of the whites from SA are moving here, so whether racists like it or not, the white race is on the decline, in terms of numbers.

If our government wants America to thrive, they need to allow immigrants of any color. Talented people, willing to work and to find that elusive "American Dream".

No matter what our racist govt will try, what draconian antiabortion laws, or monetary incentives they will try, it won't work to make more white kids.

Others have tried and failed.

Get used to the idea of a country and a world where "whites" will be in the minority. Which is fine, if you are not a racist dick.

Kay Ducky's avatar

The math is easy, it's been the same since day one: If you want more Americans, you need more immigrants to come here and start lives/families.

This is an old study from 23 and Me. At least 6Million people in the USA who self-identify as White have some Black ancestry. Interesting map. The further south, the more Black DNA in White people. Twelve percent of White people in Louisiana and South Carolina have Black ancestry, and 10% of White people in other southern states. Gift link WAPO.

https://wapo.st/4dAMiyz

Fifth Dentist's avatar

I read about a study in Virginia. Twenty-five percent of the "whites" had black DNA.

Fifth Dentist's avatar

I was thinking about that the other day when I read that Sally Hemming and TJ's kids would have been, like, 7/8 white. Three of the four moved from the area where they were born and "passed"/intermarried into white society.

But, by the one-drop rule, a person could be 31/32 white and still be considered not-white if their ancestry was knonwn with that 1/32 bit of non-white DNA.

EyeQueue's avatar

They are going to *force women* to have kids. They want their Gilead and are by God going to get it.

Ambiance Chaser's avatar

Seems like a lot of effort to just starve and neglect 4-limbed sack of meat . . .

aktlib101's avatar

OK. But there is only one thing that works: don't educate women, don't let them go to school (maybe only elementary school), keep them at home.

The Taliban way.

EyeQueue's avatar

That's what they're trying to do here. They are destroying the public school system here in my state siphoning it off to these christofascists and private religious schools.

aktlib101's avatar

Yay, to the racist paradise.

<Apparently the United States doesn’t have money for Medicaid or cancer research or paying teachers a living wage>

Never let the rich and privileged tell you what there isn't money for. Campaign on this, Democrats. Go back to the old standby, "Are you better off than you were two years ago?" Epstein Ballroom, unprovoked attacks on countries, reflecting pool, Arc d' Trash, weekly trips to Florida, private luxury jets for cabinet members, all paid for with your money. Stripped out agencies where you get less but are paying the same. Ask yourself, my fellow Americans, "Where's mine?"

Maureen's avatar

I know that issues are important in campaigns, and I know that a good candidate has some good serious responses when questioned about an issue. I also know that a hell of of lot of people make a judgment call on a sound bite, and that is what we need to hit on - make those sound bites count. Get someone interested enough to actually look into what a candidate's stance is on an issue. Fuck this congeniality shit. It's time to fight.

gallbladder's avatar

This was indeed an issue in the last election. Trump speaks at the level of a sixth-grader (apologies to sixth-graders) and given the sheer amount of sensory overload and distraction nowadays, there is not much processing power left over for deep cognition.

PrimerGray's avatar

I hate to make it this simple but the electorate as a whole can't take big bites, so to speak. It's a reason why the GOP is effective in their messaging. Plus they are liars with no intentions of doing what they tell the public, which they are also effective with.

Maureen's avatar

I don't like the idea of playing to the lowest common denominator, but I guess that is what we have to do - but it has to be realistic. Not the biggest hunk of bullshit you can spit out. People can be so stupid...

EyeQueue's avatar

I don't, either. Make them COME UP TO OUR FUCKING LEVEL!

Especially these proudly ignorant navel fucking gazers. Just...fuck them. :(

EyeQueue's avatar

And now it sounds like they are going after hospice care b/c "fraud."

GHOULS! FUCKING GHOULS!

PrimerGray's avatar

I'd like to hear an explanation of that To be in that part of healthcare, you have to be dedicated and have a huge heart. No one is getting rich off of that.

Maureen's avatar

That has been my experience in working in health care, although I think there are some doctors that are somewhat more insulated from that huge heart. I worked at a hospital (in a non-clinical role) - the administration was into Democratic governance, because reimbursement was more predictable and generous; the doctors were more into Republican governance because it was more "fuck you, I got mine."

PrimerGray's avatar

Doctors (not all) have that God complex. The surgeon who reconstructed my elbow was cocky, I only saw him for the initial visit. I suppose that's a good quality to have for this kind of thing. I can see where you are coming from on this.

Maureen's avatar

Definitely true; surgeons are probably higher on that "God complex" scale - and it's understandable, they are holding your life in their hands for a bit.

EyeQueue's avatar

*Exactly*! The hospice workers that cared for my Nana when she was dying might as well have been fucking angels.

These goddamned fucks need their asses handed to them and I hope I live long enough to fucking see it.

clairence's avatar

Was driving behind a lifted pickup truck just last week that had a bumper sticker that said America's Full! Now I have a legit question to ask of such folks if we ever converse.

Maureen's avatar

I saw that nonsense when I lived in Montana, and I knew damn well that Montana had (probably still has) a lot of empty space. As of the last census, there are 7.8 people per square mile. I think we still have some room.

And he is most certainly going to take a huge cut of that $1.8B slush fund as THE most aggrieved victim of government weaponization (the J6ers can go fuck themselves).

I can't remember much about that movie. I think I saw it my senior year in HS.
