I thought the term "politically correct" was used first in the USSR, after the Czar was deposed? I know that Russian people were sent to work camps for not being politically correct.

Although in fairness, she has a much easier job. It's exhausting having to think up new ways to do evil every day -- whereas Ms. Markle only has had to learn how to wave.

I have never read nor, before today, even heard of that novel he's so fond of (and I worked in a bookstore for years); but I think I can accurately predict that there aren't any saints in that camp.

People who don't want a woman in power, or a person in color in power ... people will tie themselves into knots trying to offer some stupid excuse that is the complete opposite of their excuse yesterday when that's what their real objection is

It's a matter of personal preference. I don't hold the same negative view of Tom Hanks as you do.
