Even though that was the end of my owning a real Tiffany dragonfly lamp and a Beatle bass, it was worth it to be rid of him for good. I don't know how many women (yes, and men too) are suffering from PTSD from life with an abusive POS, but it's probably in the millions. I did a lot of work on myself (and got some help), and now I'm married to a kind, compassionate, brilliant man, and I love our life.
Guys like this burn me up because I was married to one. He would beat me and then he would stage a complete meltdown and he would tell me he was just gonna go blow his head off because he didn't deserve to live blah blah blah. And because he got his hooks into me at 16 years old I bought into that bullshit for way too long. They absolutely know what they're doing when they pull this shit.
