The giveaway is none of those 150 disputed the results or claimed fraud in their own elections, many of whom in swing states where the mythical fraud supposedly occurred and on the same damn ballots.

The GOP is a murder cult.

If I lived somewhere where Republicans had a chance to win an election, I'd run using the slogan "My opponent is a liar and an idiot who wants to kill your children and grandmother. And probably your dog. So vote for me."

I still rate Under Siege as a really good movie. But I hear ya. What I find hilarious about his post-mainstream filmography is just how ridiculous those samey tropes are. Like he has to have a strip-club scene in EVERY movie.

I never had to go to war. I do remember, though, my M16 had a selector for single shot, three round burst, and just throw your bullets out there willy-nilly so that your magazine will be empty and your enemy can shoot you. We were trained to use single shot or three round burst.

I could have sworn mine had a full-auto mode, but that we were told not to use it. Maybe I'm imagining things. The 80s were a long time ago, and a lot of drugs ago, so it's possible that I am wrong.

Actually Colt offered the first civilian market rifle labeled as an AR15, the AR15 Sporter, way back in 1964. It came with a 5 round magazine. It apparently didn't sell very well, but well enough for Colt to keep offering them. It was only in the '80s, after Colt's patents on it ended, that companies started to make copies, and for whatever reason the market for them began to take off.

There are variants that are safe/semi/burst still. There are variants that are safe/semi only and safe/semi/auto.

The most likely variant issued is going to be safe/semi/burst or safe/semi. The various special operations groups get the full auto variant for the most part.

Not sure how to put this so as to avoid any trace of snark, but ... I really appreciate that there haven't been any articles about how Biden is an idiot for telling the press that McConnell and Cornyn are going to help out with gun legislation. If you take it on absolute face value it's an unrealistic expectation; but much more likely, Biden was as un-antagonistically as possible putting the onus on them to step up. I don't know that it will work, but then again, neither would angrily denouncing them.

So I appreciate that, and out of appreciation I'll post a video of Genkai tricking an opponent into not using any of his thousand techniques that could kill her; she does it so smoothly that you could watch several times and not even notice the trickery.

The failure of the Cornyn/Murphy talks seems like the whole thing was a performative delay tactic. Make it look like we're working on it until the heat cools down and we can move on the something else.

If you had the A1 you had full-auto. If you had the A2 then three-round burst.

Mo Brooks asked, if there’s no evidence of ballot fraud, what do you call 150 republican congress critters who voted to not accept the 2020 results?

That’s easy, they’re liars, idiots, and frauds, same as always. G’head, ask me a hard one.
