Bill Clinton's impeachment was bullshit from the start and everybody saw that once the hearings were done. The Taint's impeachment hearings, on the other hand...
Giuliani is like the lawyer who got a client off a kidnapping charge on a technicality and demanded that the state give the victim back to his now-exonerated client.
Trump certainly does deserve impeachment. Given the short time to the next election, however, I think it makes better strategic sense to put all of our energy into defeating him at the polls. If somehow he manages to win the election, there's an excellent chance that he would have committed a thousand more crimes by then, and we can still impeach him.
We can do that while also exposing the corruption in his administration. People are so used to the GOP playing political games with trumped up investigations while doing nothing that benefits the general public that they think that is all Congress can do. In fact, they can investigate the numerous instances of corruption well beyond Russian meddling in the 2016 election and still have plenty of time to work on legislation. Plus, the constant hammering by the GOP House majority from 2010 to 2016 did impact Hillary's run in 2016.
Despite never finding anything she did that made her responsible for Benghazi, millions of voters, including too many progressives, used it to pile on her as crooked. It will be just as effective against Trump, especially since he is very likely involved in criminal activities.
I like Jon Stewart, particularly his ability to laugh at himself. My kids who are half East Indian are frequently confused for Messicans by the school. I like Bee, Oliver and Trevor as well but spend more time on Wonkette.
In addition to barring Kellyanne Conway from appearances, major news networks also need to stop giving Rudy Giuliani a microphone. He is not a useful source of anything and letting him speak adds nothing to the discourse.

Trench coat? Sarong libelzz!
Is that the one where Margaret Dumont takes the Fifth and not surprisingly, Harpo had no comment?
Why Trump continues to let Rudy speak on his behalf continues to be one of the most mind-numbing aspects of this mind-numbing presidency.
Personally I think Graham might, with difficulty, rise to the level of Gongfermor
I HATE that he's so interruptive (not a word, is now). Or anyone else that constantly does this. Fuck off.

Think of the comedy it provides!
