Frank Luntz probably uses the term "Contrarianism" or "Common Sense" instead.

<i>"Christians would not compromise their faith by joining with unbelieving liberals."</i>

Seems that we've located the original teabaggers.

That's an inherent part of "respecting the Biblical teachings of law, order, and moral decency."

Imagine if Wal-Mart had been around to construct roads for the Japanese in WWII. Actually, never mind . . . things would not have been much different.

You should contribute to Conservapedia - you've really nailed their content and style, and Poe's Law would ensure that they never catch on.

EDIT: Laughing my ass off now ... I honestly had not read your comment above when I wrote this.

"The Happy Family" (Little Golden Books) was one of my favorite books as a small child. <a href="https://www.google.com/sear..." target="_blank">" rel="nofollow noopener" title="https://www.google.com/search?q=the+happy+family+...">https://www.google.com/sear...

I could never understand why my parents roared with laughter when they read it aloud to me.

So of course I had to google Fat Atheists. Damn, I had no idea this was a Thing.

I get the resentment of liberals and their characterization as endive-nibbling effetists. I get the defense of Paula Deen and her terrible food. I get the hatred of anything Michelle Obama promotes. I get the defensiveness about bloated spokeswalruses like Limbaugh and Rove. I get the general class anger at posts about WalMartians. And the denial about the maps of obesity showing southern states ahead of everyone else by double digits.

But what does any of that have to do with an atheist/Christian divide? I mean, none of us non-Christians are saying that Jesus or the Disciples were fat. The photos make it clear that they weren't, after all.
