After 2014 elections, there will be very little reason for any D senators to run away from Bamz. In 2016, there will only be 10 D incumbents up for reelection, and only 3 of them (Reid, Bennet, Murray) won their last elections by less than 9%. [Hawaii is a special case, but whether Schatz or Hanabusa wins the primary, the chance of that seat going R is vanishingly small).

Incidentally (paging Dr. Dean), 2016 would be a really good year for a 50-state strategy. There will be 24 R incumbent seats up, and while most of them are deep red, IL, PA, WI, and FL (remember, Marco won in a 3-way) are definitely competitive, and KY, LA, and AZ (WALNUTS!) are at least worth a serious candidate.

They still have to invent something to convict him of. PWB isn't on the books as a high crime or misdemeanor (yet). The whole "issue" is just insane blather by the right wing lunatics, and with any luck it will inspire millions of sane voters to get off their asses and vote.

Agreed. for far too long progressives considered POTUS the only worthy prize with scant lip service paid to Congress, while they completely ignored the infiltration of their local school boards, city councils and ultimately their state houses and governorships. It didn't help that they also ignored the infestation of Third Way, Republican-Lite politicians into the Democratic Party, whose craven ambition caused them to hew to the most politically expedient position they could find- namely just to the left of the GOP

Oh no. Tis not the same. It only works for us if the bits we like are applied to life. We enjoy scampi and lobster, so that doesn't work for us.

But for you my "friend", tis just the same.

IMO President Gore would have stayed focused on terrorism. He would have been much more likely to "connect the dots" and prevented the 9/11 attacks. And he would not have invaded Iraq to prove he has a bigger penis than his father.

On the other hand, the Republicans would have impeached him anyway.

You need legal arguments for legitimacy...and to actually bring charges against someone.

The desire to return minority peoples to their tribal roots and religions, a pre-Christian status, is called multiculturalism.
Absolutely. Because one thing you will never see when Hispanics, or the Irish, the Italians, the French, the Polish, the Greeks, the Portuguese, the Filipinos, et. al. celebrate their ethnocultural roots is any hint of Christianity.

Right, and Quebecois (and numerous other ethnic cultures represented in North America) are decidedly non-Christian, just as Land I Love states.

Love the backdrop of a bombed-out McDonald's, with Ronald himself giving the attackers both barrels, and the UFOs zooming around overhead. (UFOs? WTF?) But what's the deal with the alligator strapped with a suitcase nuke?

I've read quite a bit, and groaned inwardly several times. Reading just doesn't get an audible response from me often. Sellars and Yeatman on the Irish living in brackets and Adams on the Mattresses of Sqornshellous Zeta are all I remember, and those evoked laughter, not groaning. I think having to scroll down to the footnote, and then wishing I hadn't, may have had something to do with it.
