Super Normal Right-Wing Talk Show Discusses Killing Antifascists In Their Sleep
Because red-flag laws are ... bad? Sure why not.
Last week, Lars Larson, the host of the nationally syndicated right-wing talk show "The Lars Larson Show," brought on a guest by the name of Shane Kohlfield. Kohlfield, a former Marine, made the news late last month after having all of his guns taken away. Why? Because he stood in front of the house of the mayor of Portland and explained, in great detail, his plan to murder all of the anti-fascists in their sleep.
Kohlfield claims that this plan is merely a "nuclear deterrent," just in case Antifa starts going around murdering people, which, as we all know, is the step right after throwing a milkshake at someone's head (there is a joke in there somewhere about The Cherry Sisters). He will probably be waiting a heck of a long time for this to occur, because killing people to achieve political ends is primarily a right-wing thing these days. I could be wrong, but I think the last time an organized Leftist group actually killed anyone in America, a young Patty Hearst was involved. That was a while ago!
But people like Kohlfield and Larson really like to pretend that Antifa represents some kind of serious terroristic threat, probably in hopes of making people forget that the vast majority of domestic terrorism incidents come from right-wing groups. Or because they think that if they can present themselves as the oppressed victims of Antifa, they will obtain some form of social leverage.
Anyway, while Kohlfield was at first hesitant to divulge his entire plan on-air, Larson pushed him and, eventually, Kohlfield just let it all hang out.
Transcript via Right Wing Watch :
First, veterans [will] join antifa social media pages and groups and get names of most active members of social media, along with getting the arrest records from rallies and write down all the names they see, as well as use arrest records. The veterans will use background check programs to find home addresses of all the members of antifa using the intelligence they had gathered.
The veterans will take a map of the cities where members of antifa are known to live there. Grid overlays will be placed over the maps of the cities. The veterans will be broken down into squads. Each squad will be assigned its own grid and given a list of names and addresses in their assigned grid square. … The veterans would use Route4Me to find the most expedient route to hunt down the most violent members of antifa in their beds at night until every one of them was gone and every city in America, if need be, in a single well-coordinated night. The losses for antifa would be catastrophic.
This, again, was broadcast on a nationally syndicated radio show. Where people could hear it! With their ears!
I mean, my god. Just take a second and imagine if someone on the Left did this, and that a relatively mainstream left-wing podcast host (let's be honest, we're never gonna do much talk radio) had that person on the air to literally discuss their plans for murdering right-wingers. Tucker Carlson would dedicate an entire hour to panicking over it. No, not an hour, a lifetime . Every right-wing internet troll would respond to every tweet from anyone on the left with "DO YOU CONDONE MURDERING PEOPLE IN THEIR SLEEP JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE A DIFFERING OPINION??" for weeks on end. The word "tolerance" would be invoked both incorrectly and relentlessly.
We probably should do shit like that, but as appalling as this is, it's almost hard to get particularly het up about it, because it's so not at all unexpected.
At the very least, let's hope that this ensures that this guy will not be getting his stash of guns back anytime soon -- oh yes, Larson claims that was the point of the segment: that Kohlfield hadn't actually done any of the mass murdering he was espousing, so seizing his guns was bad. Somehow. People are strange.

Not if it isn't running right. Missing on at least 2 cylinders.
Or maybe that's their brains.
Makes one hope that vampires are real. Trying killing one of them in their sleep, fools.
