The justices could, of course, take notice of the fact that each of them (but some more than others) is highly suspect and individually tell us, "Hey,i t wasn't me."

I didn't see a single guest on MSNBC last night that didn't think this was some BULLSHIT.

Some highlights: The Marshal has no investigatory experience - she runs the operational aspects of the building. The FBI, even though they're a bit busy these days, apparently offered to assist. The Marshal failed to talk to the justices or their spouses and failed to speak with former employees, including clerks who moved on to other legal jobs. And notably, she kinda' has a conflict, because the justices are her bosses.

Nice work overall, Roberts. Now the Court looks even more ridiculous.

Yeah, the rightie justictices are tongue flappers with their pals and Ginni Thomas (who turned out to have just blarped e-mails that had no effect) is a fun Big Bad to imagine, but this gambit reeked of a twenty-something Fed Soc fanboi/gurl who is internet savvy and knows how to cover their tracks.

Forcing two unqualified partisans onto the nations highest court through a ruthless act of sheer political force impacted people's perception of the legitimacy of the court? Well, no one could have ever anticipated that!
