If you make a car with no seatbelt, no brakes, that has no catylitic converter or muffler, no windshield or wipers, no blinkers, and has concrete tires, the government regulations will stop you from selling said car. And yet we are not in an Orwellian Dystopia. Or are we?

Nobody jumps off the Bay Bridge because the Golden Gate Bridge is so much cooler. Just like everybody uses an AR-15 assault style weapon, because who wants to look like a dick when you're shooting First Graders in the head?

CLEARLY he was not a responsible gun owner, as he was standing on the other side of a wall separating him from where other gun owners were shooting. If he'd been responsible, he wouldn't have been standing in the path of that bullet! HARRUMPH!!!

We stopped gun manufacturers from selling fully automatic weapons "machine guns" when that became a problem, we can do the same with assault guns now that it's a problem.
