Hey now, sophistry is an art form.

And this, this is a piece of art.

Sadly, it leaves open the tactic of saying:

'If there is no difference between status and use, then every misuse defines the status. So if there is even the slightest bit of proof that religious people in any way break more laws that secular people, then we should ban that religion completely. Since there are too many laws to follow them all, every religion must be guilty of something, ergo every religion should be banned.'

In la belle province, Quebec, adopted children were denied knowing the 'truth' about their parentage unless they got a court order, which is not easy to do, and even then the records might have been altered for 'reasons.' To my knowledge, it has not created any more havoc than we Quebecois are already responsible for.

Oh, that drives me nuts. I can't keep track of which marriage my good Suthn Babtst step-siblings are on (all of them have at least two and one or two have three). Yet Jesus loves them and they know exactly what he wants for everyone.

He also refers to himself (I, my, etc.) more than most judges, it seems to me. Either he writes the stuff himself or gets his clerks to emulate that :"style." I can't quite put my finger on all of what bugs me. But it's kind of like he's looking at himself in a mirror while writing, and saying, yeah, that's good, if that makes sense.

Strangely enough food colouring has no discernible flavour. Your poop will, however, be disturbing if there is enough blue, purple, or black in the cake

The current Rethugs would like to enshrine racial, religious, and sexual discrimination into law. Do you seriously think they would entertain your notion for more than 0.5 seconds?
