The funny thing is that another legislator moved to have the entire House reconsider the bill, and Rep. Wills spoke against it because it was 'against the process.'

Conservatives will vote for anything that forces birth on women despite the circumstances then shame them for not being able to financially support the forced-birth offspring while simultaneously giving a free pass and virtual high five to the male impregnator.

No, there's actually NOT. There are over 100,000 (yes over one hundred thousand) kids awaiting adoption in the US - from under a year old to 18. (No, that's not all the kids in foster care, just the ones who are waiting for adoption. There are almost 400,000 children in foster care in the US total. So no, there's not long lines of people out there waiting for kids to adopt.

And considering that the amount of unpaid child support in this country is in the BILLIONS of dollars, I'd think the guy has a point.
