Hey didn’t George W. look Putin in the eye and recognize an outstanding comrade? The answer is YES, so Tracy can certainly do the same with a farmer while petting his cow. Fair is fair.
I notice consistent comments on this thread that appear gender related. I fail to see why gender is applicable to this discussion. Democrats and Independents often imply that they are brighter or better educated than Republicans. There are so many daily examples that force me to question that premise, and I find that unfortunate as that can cloud otherwise worthy discussions.
I have been asked about my smoking status every year for the 20ish years I have taken birth control. When I hit 35 I had to pinky swear that I don't smoke, have never smoked, and don't get migraines with auras. When I got a minor leg cramp and called the nurse line like "this is nothing but y'all made me paranoid" they made me IMMEDIATELY see a doctor and get an ultrasound to ensure I didn't have a clot.
Rational health-care policy would start with what we know, from medical science, to be quality health care. Then it would proceed to the challenge of providing the highest-quality health care for the lowest price. The best solution to this challenge is a SINGLE PAYER, funded by all taxpayers for the benefit of everybody.
Republican health-care policy reverses this ALL THE WAY. It begins with the non-negotiable article of faith that the first and really only purpose of health care is to make a profit, preferably for somebody who is already rich. Thus, the first step to fulfill this purpose is to deny that we know anything at all about medicine, by continuingly disparaging medical science. Once we have replaced the concept of "scientific evidence" with the concept of "preference," we can then proceed to the challenge of providing the quackiest treatments for the highest prices that we can deceive people into accepting in place of effective and affordable medical care.
From faith based healers to crunchy moms, MAGATS have crafted yet another way to claim "gubbamint is broken!" and therefore is not to be trusted. Especially not when you can trust the New And Disproved Influencer General for the low, low, price of all your integrity and a bucket o' measles instead!
If they would just kill themselves off I could give a ratsass but its the collateral damage these fucknozzles spread like a laser-induced, CA wildfire I simply can't and won't abide.
I agree with Crazy Lady on the conversations part. The conversation should go something like this: "This is a vaccine. The possible side effects are maybe you get a sore arm for an hour. Even if you're not worried about getting the flu or whatever there are people around you who have compromised immune systems and they could die because you're afraid of a damn needle."
Also on the raw milk thing: I grew up on a dairy farm. Cows shit. A LOT. Like, really a lot, no matter how much integrity the farmer has. So don't drink raw milk.
In regard to the dangerous raw milk fad, I recommend Sarah Taber's video series, "From Farm to Taber." They're on YouTube, and they're very informative.
I live around a lot of Amish and they sell and use raw milk in their recipes. Thing is, the first step in cooking or drinking this milk is to "warm it up" which is aka pasteurization. I find it funny, that's all.
Funny. My gyn and I JUST had a convo and switched my b/c pill in January due to newer evidence coupled with the new one helping make my anemia hit less hard around my period. This in fact did not take much time. We discussed the changes in dosing between the pills and the advantages she thinks the newer one has over my prior one. And sent me more detailed info thru the patient portal. WEIRD. I thought doctors had no time?
Man, the current GOP sure love them some faux professional nutters. I’m not sure exactly what the appeal is. Women take birth control “like candy?” WTF does that mean? Women use birth control frequently because many young women become sexually active long before they are prepared or interested in having children, and trusting men to use condoms isn’t always a wise choice. But many women take forms of birth control for other reasons, including managing their menstrual cycle. Some forms limit the frequency of menstrual cycles, others stop the cycles altogether. My wife used to experience considerable cramping, so now she takes a form of control that stops her cycle altogether. It works for her. Plus, we are often intimate, and we are both old as dirt and getting pregnant now would involve high risks. I’ve had a vasectomy, but we ain’t takin’ no chances, because raising children is a horrifying sacrifice that takes your own identity, goals and dreams and locks them in a dark place somewhere. Just kidding, we have a young son and it’s only half as challenging and soul-sucking as I just described.
This lady also says women “disrespect the things that create life.” She means the penis. Stop disrespecting the penis, show the penis the respect it deserves, especially Trump’s penis, and become one with the moon.

I think the most disqualifying fact about Means is that she ran a "Functional Medicine" clinic.
Here's why: https://thescamdoctor.substack.com/p/what-is-functional-medicine?r=6hgshq
"Back when I was a smoker"! Oh, Robin, just when I thought I couldn't love you more!!
Notice her now Mar A Lago hair!!! Didn't have it like that before.

I'm well aware of the risks, thanks.

The kook circle has become unbroken.

Isn't it time we switched to a full fat, psychedelic, and beef rich diet?
A nice ribeye smothered in mushrooms would be good.
Don't forget to try the "deep fried butter on a stick" appetizer.
One would think that the baseline qualification for Surgeon General, the very lowest bar possible, would be being a practicing doctor.
One would be wrong.
Heavy. So many questions. Was she listening to Pink Floyd? The Wall or Dark Side of the Moon?
Does her connection still do deals? In the parking lot of 7-11, or will he/she do a home delivery if I promise to share and mix up some sangria?
What is the name of the pet cow? Clover, or Lillian? Is Old McDonald cool with visits for animal encounters? I promise to wear shit-kickers.
Did the cow jump over the moon? Did the little dog laugh? Does the cheese stand alone?
Can she write prescriptions? Like, you know, for Ultram or Special K?
This all sounds groovy.
