Oh, no, they were very pleasant, really, and wished me well in my life out in the "real world" and asked what plans I had, and now that I think about it I vaguely remember that they checked my name off a list as I picked mine up, so there may have been some actual purpose to it. That was the last class in the old high school which had been the only high school in town, the high school that EVERYONE went to, rich and middle class and poor, black and white. Starting the next year the new high school opened south of town where all the rich, white kids lived, and I think everything changed, and not for the better.
There some spoiled creeps at that school, but they were vastly out-numbered. They drove expensive cars to school, they played on the football team, they wore custom dresses to prom, but the majority of the school ignored them. There were 550 kids in my graduating class, and maybe 50 of them were rich spoiled kids. They had a clique, but it wasn't mine. If there were any REALLY rich families in town, they sent their kids away to private boarding schools.
Well they seemed to go out of their way to make your last contact unpleasant. Too bad too bad. At least we weren't spoiled little creeps like Bart, tobin, and PJ. We had a better preparation-- unhappy but its better to be used to trouble. Because old Kavanaugh has really been misinformed about his place in the world.

It's a mystery to me. I never paid much attention to mine, just put them on a bookshelf at home and never looked at them again. I found high school to be painfully irrelevant outside the classroom. I was there to learn what I needed to learn to get scholarships to college so I could get a degree that would get me a job that would earn me a living and not make me dependent on anyone, ever. Everything else about high school was just trivial bullshit to me, except for the few good friends I made there that I am still friends with. I did have many exceptional teachers. In fact, all of them were exceptional teachers.
I believe they did all that before the graduation ceremony, and you weren't allowed to participate in the ceremony if you hadn't paid for everything. The yearbooks didn't arrive from the printer until after school ended because they included photos taken at graduation.
So, if I understand, if Ford was promiscuous at 15, it doesn't matter. But if Kavanaugh was a jock in school, he is clearly a rapist.
