The FBI has been slowly working their way up to it. These homegrown groups that we know all too well (Proud Boys, Oathkeepers, etc) have been labeled domestic terrorists.

Just make tacos with lots of beans, onions, bell pepper, whatever other vegetables you want to add, and only a little bit of meat and you'll be fine.

High-veggie or all-veggie wraps are amazing, both cold and hot.

One time ages ago I was in Texas and I saw a an actual roadrunner at the edge of a parking lot. Taking out my then expensive SLR film camera I took a picture. Afterwards it was gone. When I finally got the film developed and saw the picture there was no roadrunner in it. Yep, they are fast.I now proudly have a picture of the corner of a parking lot.

Well, one REAL Texan is Eva Longoria who has pointed out that her Hispanic ancestors settled in what is now Texas in the early 1600s, LONG before any Anglos were there. In her families case, it was the Texians* who first took over and then the US.

*the name for the people of the independent Republic of Texas.

My husband and I have been birding in Texas for 30 years. We have spent a lot of time at the border and a lot of time in McAllen. Thank you for this article. Thank you.

Allegheny County in SW Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh has two "Versailles" Townships (North and South). Locals will be able to detect that you're an interloper if you don't pronounce either of them "Ver-Sales." They were named "Versailles" in appreciation to the French for their assistance in our winning the U.S. Revolution. Remember way back before "Freedom Fries" when we thought of the French as our friends?

I live in CT but our Republican politicians keep yapping about the problem on the border I first thought yeah those dame people from Massachusetts keep driving over the border on our highways breaking the law speeding. Seriously though you would think the Repugs in the Northeast would use a little different tactic to get elected since one bus load of immigrants into Martha's Vineyard doesn't really bother us we have blizzards to worry about soon.
