Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas is not a smart man. Oh, I know, I know. There's a conservative fairy tale that Cruz is REALLY smart (Democrats, beware!) because he went to Princeton and Harvard Law School and was super good at debating, and Harvard Professor Alan Dershowitz called him "off-the-charts brilliant."
I think I see the problem. The comment box is at the very bottom of the page below all the rest of the <strike>comments</strike> word like things that serve as a placeholder where comments would go if teh wonket allowed them
In re "REALLY SUPER DUPER burdensome form", You have a key point wrong. The Nuns do not claim filling out the form is burdensome. At no point in time have They made that claim. What They have stated is (1) Their faith prohibits Them from filling out the form due to the foreseeable consequences and (2) failure to fill out that form will result in fines of almost $40,000 per year for Each and Every Employee of the entire organization if so much as 1 Employee seeks no-copay contraception under the organizations insurance policy. In other words, it is not the form which is the burden but the resultant $86,578,000 per year in fines which is the substantial burden. If an almost $90,000,000 fine for failure to provide contraception coverage to 1 Employee for religious reasons is not a substantial burden on the free exercise of religion, I don't know what is.
There&#039;s explaining. There&#039;s assplaining. There&#039;s mansplaining. Then there&#039;s Cruzplaining, which is a level one hoped we might be spared from reaching.
The only possible explanation for this is your puny not-Hahvahdy ladybrain cannot comprehend how amazingly heroic Constipational Hero Ted Cruz is for saving the Holy Mother Church from writing some words on a piece of paper.
Well thank goodness Ted Cruz brought his thoughts to the forefront. Since your so worried Ted about contraceptives, can you be a good Statesman and ensure that these same corporations cannot pay or any male enhancement meds or penis pumps. You know, to be fair and American given that your no longer a Canadian anchor baby.
Being an intellectually dishonest, scientifically ignorant, manipulative, power hungry, hate-filled demagogue willing to say anything to get his way doesn&rsquo;t make him unintelligent, it just makes him evil.
Fuck Hobby Lobby. I demand a <i>Calvin and Hobbes Lobby</i>. It would give money to sympathetic congressional lifeforms that would vote in favor of Calvinball and sledrides for everybody!!!
I&#039;m stealing a basic suggestion from Kurt Vonnegut to share with Ted Cruz:
&ldquo;Why don&#039;t you take a flying fuck at a rolling doughnut? Why don&#039;t you take a flying fuck at the mooooooooooooon?&rdquo;
This fucking guy. I sincerely believe he should be sent back to Canada. Who is with me to start a petition?
