I'm a "Trot" (or at least I used to be, I'd call myself libertarian Marxist now), and the deep dishonesty of the Berniebros is pretending that Bernie is some kind of revolutionary (they wear T-shirts of him in a Che Guevara hat) when he's really an old-style 1960s social democrat. The differences between him and Warren on policy are razor-thin; all his fanclub are doing is selling an image with nothing behind it.
OTOH, you're right that his fan club includes anti-Semites and people who want to ally with Republicans and fascists against the hated liberals.
It's very simple. We went to Afghanistan because that's where ObL was. We had him pinned down at Tora Bora and while it would have been nasty flushing him out, it could have been done. The only problem was that the White House hadn't quite finished selling us the completely unnecessary invasion of Iraq. Cheney and Rumsfeld pulled us out of Tora Bora to let ObL go because they wanted a boogeyman to help sell Iraq.

Bernie has a strong oratory style that really appeals to millennials. He can sound inspiring. He can sound motivational, heck, inspirational. The rally I attended in 2016 -- the enthusiasm was contagious. When he's on -- he's ON.
I'm not saying Bernie is without liabilities. I didn't go along with his attempts to have it both ways with the DNC, and yes, he has staffing choices I don't support. I don't support him this election cycle, for a number of reasons that have nothing to do with his speaking style.
But that doesn't mean I'll fall in line with Biden right away, either. Like I said, I WILL vote blue no matter who. But Joe needs to pick his battles very carefully and as stupid as it sounds, he does need be wary of shooting from the hip. It's possible to go on the offense -- and dems have to do this, no question -- without impulsive reaction.
There was something floating around on FB last weekend that said that Stephen King had nothing to do last Tuesday afternoon so he finished The Winds of Winter.
